Exterior detailing
RV Exterior Detailing in Las Vegas
Hand wash and machine applied wax for gloss and short term protection. The right call before a trip or a sale listing.
- Full hand wash, roof to rockers
- Bug and tar removal
- Wheels and tires cleaned and dressed
- Machine applied wax
A motorcoach's exterior takes a different kind of abuse than a car's. Interstate miles mean bug strikes and tar on the front cap and windshield. Storage yards and RV parks mean dust, hard water spotting, and oxidation from sitting in direct sun for weeks at a time. Exterior detailing on a coach means working through all of that by hand, at a scale a standard car wash bay was never built for.
What's included
Hand wash, top to bottom
We wash the full exterior by hand rather than running it through automated equipment, which isn't sized for a 40-foot coach and can miss the upper panels and roofline entirely. That includes the roof, the sidewalls, the front cap, and the rear cap.
Bug and tar removal
Front caps and windshields take the worst of highway driving. We use dedicated chemical removers for bug residue and tar rather than scraping, since scraping on gel coat or paint risks scratching the surface.
Wheels and tires
Wheels get cleaned face and barrel, and tires are cleaned and dressed. Brake dust and road grime build up differently on a coach's wheels than a car's given the weight and braking system, so this gets its own pass rather than a quick rinse.
Wax or sealant
After the wash and any spot treatment, we apply a machine-applied wax for gloss and short-term protection. This is the right call before a trip, before a sale listing, or as routine maintenance between deeper services like ceramic coating.
Windows and mirrors
Glass is cleaned inside and out where accessible, including mirrors and any exterior-facing cab glass.
Why a coach needs a specialist
The scale is the real difference. A 35 to 45-foot coach has several times the surface area of a passenger vehicle, and panels like the roof and upper sidewall require ladders and proper reach rather than standard car-detailing equipment. Our facility is sized for full-size Class A motorcoaches and RVs specifically, so there's no awkward driveway job or a bay too small for the vehicle.
When to book this
Exterior detailing is the right service before a road trip, coming out of storage after a season, before listing a coach for sale, or as regular upkeep to slow down oxidation from Nevada sun. If the coach also needs interior work, our Full Detail package combines both in one visit.
Send the quote form with your coach's size and what shape it's in and we'll call you back with a price.
